- It is capable of transmission up to 150 m with the latency less than 1 millisecond, and in the case of a dropped link it provides the option of rapid reconnection.
- Teradek Bolt 500 supports metadata and timecode transmission.
- It provides film-makers with the possibility of wireless interconnection of a complete camera chain (camera – focus – direction) by means of a built-in HDMI/SDI converter.
- It is also compatible with gimbals, jimmy jibs, and so on.
